(cont) and when I do, have to, I take it out when it's still that freaky orange color just to put MANIC PANIC red or purple that is strong enough for dark virgin hair...and you are right professional is always the best...but sally's is a better option for at home...

@IsnipU I say go to Sally Beauty supply and get the good old Wella or ION stuff...because I use ION all the time when I color my hair (my natural hair being level I have to do 20vol since I like to do richer browns and intense reds/red violets) and always condition properly (: I mix my own too to balance out the tones...I only go between level 3 and level 5...with a 20 devoloper and I don't do bleachings ever...

OMG...I am a professional haircolorist and there is so much wrong with this advice, I don't know where to begin. If you follow all of this advice and tips, you will surely end up in my chair paying me anything to fix your hair. Folks, don't be so cheap, go to a professional and get it done the correct way.
