@stefono62 Every player knows that using softhands will go and allow you to catch these type of balls. When do people break their fingers like that? When they're hands are clenched around their bat, their bones exposed with straight head on contact.

sorry wish that was real but that just isnt lol. ive seen kids get broken fingers and somtimes shatter bones in their hands from 60 mph pitches.

As for knowing which ball to catch.. simple Bruno... the machine throws a ball every 6 seconds... Just that night I caught about 8 or 9 of them.

they do it everyday in pro ball... ESPECIALLY catchers... its part of their job.
