Her students range from the beginning pleasure rider to the advanced competitor. Draw reins are not a curse, they are your friend. But if you use them too much then your horse will become crap. Try using other methods too. The main thing is to get your horse comfortable and supple.

Your horse looks like a thoroughbred. I have a thoroughbred too, and she is more comfortable with a full sized saddle pad. I would suggest you using one and seeing if your horse likes it better.

@TheJumperChick and if u ride ur horse wth draw riens u let go all the control u may of had on the head/neck there was a six year old at my old barn that wore draw riens almost all her life up until her curent owner now heard is down like in between her legs like. She has no front end

Ur supposed to do that on hunters it called half seat
