  • Hi, yes, you need also to activate "ONT: Notes" in the "Devices" section of NLog for iRIg MIDI or whatever you use.

  • MIDI Thru means forwarding MINI IN to MINI OUT. Can be activated in NLog. For all other problems please email support : info aaa temporubato ddd com

  • Hello there

I tried to download the free version of the nlog synth, but it seems impossible from the app store, can you tell me how or where to download it.

    thanks

  • @juanesironmaiden Hi, the free version has been discontinued in summer 2011. The NLog MIDI Synth is now 4.99 USD which is a great deal!

  • Hi, Nice video, Want to know can I use irig midi "out" to my pc "in" to use vst instruments through varies apps on pc means I can control them through some iphone app like grageband or geosynth just like a midi keyboard.

    Please Let me know

    Thanks.

  • what is the midi thru? i have a motif xf8 but doesn't work.

  • @slmnv5 Right, if you have pitch to MIDI conversion adding another 20ms and therefore getting well over 30ms that would be too much. I am not a guitar expert, but I haven't seen any convincing realtime pitch to midi conversion by whatever technology and devices.

  • @nlogmusic I felt that guitar pitch to midi conversion is poor due to 16-30 ms latency (e.g. Sonuus G2M has this delay). On top of that another 10-30 ms will make it 26-60 ms. Do you feel this delay when you play keys and is it what you call fun here?

  • @varoennauraa Apple does not officially support USB audio nor MIDI. However, some devices works when connecting via Camera Connection Kit to iPads. Check out this list: iosmidi dot com slash devices For audio *and* MIDI connectivity & iPads you can use Alesis' io dock. For iPhone/iPods there are either MIDI-only interfaces or audio-only interfaces.
