Hi thank you for this informative video. i was wondering do border collies shed this much. i live in the city in sydney australia and i have a house i want the dog the be inside and out but i don't want hairs everywhere. do they shed ALOT or if you brush it twice a week will it be okay. thank you in advance

Hi, This video was actually done by Almost Home, I just posted for them. But to answer your question...all dogs will shed. The amount of hair makes a difference. We have rough and smooth(short hair) collies. I'd say a Border Collie is inbetween. When our smooth collie sheds, the hair is not as long, but the amount is the same. It normally only occurs twice a year...spring/fall for our dogs. And I'm sure you know this but border collies are working dogs, so they need daily exercise.
