  • Puzzoozoo "1600 x 1080" don't you mean 1600 x 1200? As in the settings drop down menu there is no 1600 x 1080, unles you meant 1900 x 1080. 1 week ago
  • arockcalledsteve @Puzzoozoo Sorry I meant 1600x1050 - its a 16:10 resolution, the closest equivelent in 16:10 to 1920x1080 (1080p) is 1920x1200.

  • Puzzoozoo I had an e-mail reply from Mr Olafsson yesterday, and a font upgrade is coing but not for 12 to 24 months, in the meantime CCP has secured the services of a type face professional to make the fonts more readable.

    But all in all it looks good, and is something to look forward to. I can now change my trial account to a subscriber account later in the month, and start to get into the game more as I develop my avatar's character and get into Eve properly.     1 week ago
  • Puzzoozoo BTW for your intrest just-in-case we ever meet out there, I am Seul Manus. Seul is French for Lone, and Manus is Latin for Hand, or Lone Hand. Till I try out a corp, I prefer to be a lone wolf pilot i.e the "Butterfly effect" video, as I have never been much of a team player.     ur very wrong XBOX 360 £180 1 YEAR MEMBER SHIP £30 THEN THE GAME £35 BUT I WILL NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE MY XBOX AND EVERY GAME THAT COMES OUT THE GRAPHICS WILL GET BETTER AND BETTER ...with a pc it just gets worst over time coz u know it means more upgrades .....PC are not pratical games machines and i wont be long till u have motion capture so u can use ur hands and voice ...HENCE gone away with keyboards and mouse when u can speak and point 1 week ago
  • ParlourBEATflex Versions of direct x and gfx card updates are only the same as the progression in graphics/physics in console gaming.
    The reason why most machines are upgraded so much is because the PC isnt just for games, therefore they got majorly clogged.

    If you were to simply play games on a PC (nothing else at all) youd only need to upgrade every 2-3 years to play the newest software. Thats about the average lifespan of a xbox/ps3 anyway... assumming your not one of the lucky ones.     1 week ago
