Currently under investigation from the house ethics commitee, Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez speaks at Cinco De Mayo in Santa Ana. It begins with a standard stump speech, but then Sanchez panders to the crowd promising free services, ignoring the difference between legal and illegal immigrants and objecting that the Cinco de Mayo President "isn't even Mexican." "What is that all about?" she asks.

  • Guess she feels that the patriot act should only apply to american citizens

  • She's the perfict example why all incumbents must be voted out. Where at war with terrorist and sanchez doesn't want our countries local law enforcement to ask illegal aliens what country their from. The best part ,she sits on the homeland security board ..

  • Chinos?!? Really? I didn't know that all Asians are from China. Thats like calling anyone from a Spanish speaking country Mexican. I'm sure that would go over real well.

  • I've heard that it is like calling someone "chinaman." It is often used for anyone that looks Asian.

  • I think the poster missed the most offensive thing in this speech. Isn't "Chino" a racist term for Asian Americans. Looks like Loretta Sanchez may have had her own George Allen "Makaka" moment.
