http://EasyRecipesHQ.com - Christmas Dinner is nearing as so is the Christmas Recipes Menu fast approaching, and we wanted to show you "How To Cook a Turkey" In the last of the How To Cook a Turkey for your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, we show you how to prepare the Turkey for the plate. We show you how to carve the Turkey and how to present it. We assume that you will have your Turkey gravy or what ever sauce you might like to use with the bird. As a different approach you can also serve a bread sauce with the Turkey as another side sauce. For restaurant service we ALWAYS cook the turkey just slightly under. The reasons for this are that when the turkey is being reheated for service, it does not over cook. So that when a customer is served their meal, the Turkey is cooked perfectly. The main point here is to learn how to carve the Turkey properly and how to present it on a plate for your guests. Also a HUGE part of carving the Turkey is to allow the bird to relax for at least 30 minutes after it has come out of the oven. The reason for this is to allow the flesh to relax down after being tightened up from the heat of the oven. If you allow the Turkey to relax, you will definitely notice a big difference in how tender the meat actually is. . Again we hope that you enjoy the video and we welcome any constructive feedback, and of course Happy Thanksgiving or Merry Christmas or whatever time of the year your cooking your Turkey for :-)
