WEEK 5: MCMAP

Learning Marine Corps martial arts:
"We've fought before, but this is more focused. There are a lot of moves and you have to get every one right. Were learning to fight like Marines."

This is real footage of Marine Corps recruit training. It is not a simulation. It is a look at the transformation from civilian to Marine through the eyes of real recruits.

  • @neozeonsolid It is based on the quickest and most efficient way to subdue your enemy, much like Krav Maga. And there is a reason these martial arts are taught to troops and used on the battlefield... When you have knowledge in these arts and experience in performing such techniques you become very dangerous. Being said, If a Marine steps into a cage with a fighter, he will lose, but if a fighter goes against a Marine in a life and death situation. the Marine will come on top every time.

  • @neozeonsolid Quick, devastating, and to the point

  • Looks like that Marine knows some Wing Chun! :)

  • @Ben85paintball Were you east coast or west coast? west coast is a bit earlier than east.

  • @neozeonsolid really? I thought that the fighting you learn in the marines was like the most advanced and dangerous techniques known to man.

  • i have to say that the martial arts training in the Marines are only useful for people who aren't experienced in fighting

  • @bennyman5 It is Drill Instructor DS is Army.

  • @BENJItrailNPxL1100 that would be sweet! then MCJROTC would be the greatest

  • i wished we learned the in MCJROTC

  • @metalhead6695 yes marines is drill instructor correct
