This piece will be performed by a 12-voice choir on a concert entitled "Mary Lou Williams" A Celebration" at Park Avenue Christian Church in NYC on Wed, Feb 20, 2013. Also on the program" Williams' complete "Music for Peace" ("Mary Lou's Mass"). I LOVE "St. Martin de Porres" and can't wait to hear it live!

Look dude... I can listen to ANYTHING from classical pieces composed in the renaissance to 60's rock and heavy metal. I love that Blake is inspired by this and he turned this into gold. But this in it's original shape is just something I'm really not that into.
I don't even know why I posted that comment. It was a stupid thing to do. One thing about this piece that I actually like though is the piano bit.
