Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail, two child actors from the "Slumdog Millionaire" film, were saved from Mumbai's slums to play starring roles in the acclaimed movie.
But while they have a ticket out of poverty millions of others remain trapped in India's slums.
Al Jazeera's Matt McClure reports.

  • Well thats real poor India. They always used to portrait their false image through their bollywood movies and media. More than 70% of inidans population lives the same way as shown in the video. And 30 % got different life style where 10% are elites, and showing theirslevs as real indians and presenter of India.
