In September 2009, I climbed Zugspitze via the "Klettersteigroute" - up the Höllental (Valley of Hell). Here's part 2 of the adventure, with a view from the first via ferrata ascent, the hike up the glacier, and amazing vistas from the rock face below the peak!
Music by Danny Galixy, http://galixy.net. Let me know what you think about the video... there will be at least one more episode. :D More info in the blog post at http://blog.daviddouglasbooks.com
@one51s Thanks, lad, looking forward to it, how long does it take, and do you need a guide or friend, etc.

@FienStudios half a day to Hoellentalangerhuette, the hut where we overnighted, then a full day hiking up and down (or up, and gondola/train down). I'd definitely recommend companions, and a guide if you're not familiar with such mountaineering / via ferrata.

hey, I'm in hope of climbing that mountain. Do you have to pay, or did you just go?

@FienStudios To go up the Hollentalklamm it costs about 2 euro if I remember. You also have to pay to stay overnight in the hut. And of course if you take train/gondola down as we did due to the late time of day when we arrived at the top. But in general you don't have to pay any fees to access the mountain.
