  • Canada is doing its best to rebuild Afghanistan; by building roads, schools, hospitals etc.; we are teaching the Afghans that the best way to build a country is not through the barrel of a gun; sadly, Afghan history is too much ingrained in violence and it will take decades for them to become comfortable to live life without having to carry a gun.

I don't think chasing and killing the Taliban will help; it'll only make our soldiers targets. Draw the line and talk to them!

  • if you dont stand behind the Canadian forces you should stand in front of them

  • Canada doesn't need to be praised. We have our own interest in fighting terrorism. It sad, horrible and confusing at times, but it is a mistake to think the doing nothing will mean that extremists will let us alone

  • @ralphyization, I don't understand how people outside the US are unaware of the fraud in those elections. The 2000 election was fixed in Bush's favor and I wouldn't be surprised if the 2004 election was to, I have a strong feeling that they were. Do you realise how rich and powerful the Bush family is?

  • @19thepyrochilibean thats true its funny how its been there the hole time but now there oil we can get to eveyone says they have claim

  • @amartinjoe Talking will do no good we tried that for years with terrorists, we have negotiators who try but we cannot and should not negotiate with terrorists, both US or Canada. Slaughter them is what is left to do.

  • I am really disappointed in Bush. He is a Veteran of the Air National Guard so I would think he could of at least held his own Military wise. Yet, this was not the case. I do thank all the Canadian Servicemen for their selfless serivce in Afghanistan. Despite what people may think, people like myself do highly appreciate your service.

  • @DBDMotorsports That really is a great analogy

  • @illitterati Lol thank you. You have to right to quote me if you want :D

  • @DBDMotorsports That's the best analogy I've ever heard. =)
