Today I deliver to you: FINAL FANTASY VII

yes, the FF installment with the biggest fan-base ever. and I'm dubbing it with LordCrehavos and DuganZ777!

SEPHIROTH: Daman Mills (aka LordCrehavos) really did a spectacular job! I was originally going to ask Aussieroth7 to play Sephiroth for this since I wanted these dubs to have original renditions but I have never dubbed with Daman before so I took this as an opportunity to do so. and, as I expected, he really brought the roof down! His rendition is much like my Cloud rendition; reminiscent but still different from the original. The ends of his lines gives off that sort of George Newbern feel but the way he jumps into the lines in his own fashion really gives the character an original kind of sinister feel. Particularly "If that is what you wish for" speech really blew me away. I'm proud of Sephiroth too but Daman sounds really fantastic in-battle, something I don't think I could nail as good with my own version of Sephiroth.

CECIL HARVEY: Thomas Dugan (aka DuganZ777) is a co-voice actor for Eurashal's Dissidia machinima "Out of Time", wherein I play Squall and Firion while he plays Cecil and Cloud. I was a bit embarrassed to do this with him since he voices Cloud as well... so I got a bit self-conscious. His Cecil really sounds "handsome". No, I'm not gay, but he really does sound very princely. and I absolutely love the way he says "Cloud", really reminiscent of Yuri Lowenthal and again very "human". I will definitely be asking him to voice dub together again soon. real soon! :D

CLOUD STRIFE: ok, here we go... Myself as Cloud. I just checked my stats as an amateur net VA and this is the role I've received a lot of hate for-a lot of love for, and it is also the role I've landed the most. But my cloud is all but consistent and that's because I really don't know how I really want to approach him vocally. He's 21 (I'm older) so I tried voicing him with my real voice but I found it too high pitched. When I resolved the pitch issue I started to sound a lot like Johnny Young Bosch people have said. So I tried to give him more of that drab feel that only Steve Burton can get away with.

So I decided to do my research yet again, looking for a nice niche, similar to how Aussieroth's rendition was born from his research and beliefs about Sephiroth. I finally found something I wanted to portray in Cloud: his backwater background. Cloud, despite being blonde-hair blue-eyes is actually an honest to goodness backwater country boy. Nibelheim is you're typical mountain country home. Zack Fair is from Gongaga and is being voiced by Rick Gomez who also gives Zack that sort of Country feel. so I decided to run with it. Its something I notice a lot of other Cloud AVAs don't seem to play with so I'm trying to make it my own. Since it's not my normal accent I mess up a lot between takes and sometimes recording for a 1:30minute clip I record as long as 15-30 minutes, I listen to my takes, and most times find myself recording it all over again. But this time I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome.

So yes, as Cloud would put it: "I won't waver, anymore." This'll be my rendition of Cloud. I'm really sticking with it this time. :D love it or hate, FFVII fans.

in all seriousness... BEST Cloud voice i've heard from a fandubber. most people try to give him too much emotions and almost everyone who voices him sounds like johnny young bosch to me. nice original voice that can cloud over (no pun intended) steve burton's version. just the right emotions and the voice is splendid. the country accent really suits him. perfect man. 10/10

Hope all the people involved with this got my message. So far the Sephiroth has agreed to be in it...now I just need to know if the voices for Cecil and Cloud will be interested in my little..project :D
