Thank you, I'll do that. The Barking smack sails were sealed with brown cutch like some of those in your pix. The southwestern smacks had white sails. Thanks again.

Thank you for this. My gg-granddad was a Barking smackowner; also I used to go out with the guy who ran the Swale barge race. Some of your pix show up the graceful countersterns on the smacks. Nice.
