this is amazing. i am out in cairo on business and was having a nostalgic moment about me 'ome town of stour. I went to king edwards with the blonde girl looking surprised earlier on and also saw hellfire club at the town hall. That was from 1983 to 1985 so the guesses on the years seem abouy right. thanks v much for the memories, means a lot, cheers

It's so weird looking at how lively it was back then! I've lived in Stourbridge since I was born and it's nothing like that now...So many shops out of business/derelict

Not an illegal immigrant in sight!!

and to think, that place is now dead, my dad "Quinn Bytheway" remembers half of the people he sees here, and thats where me and my friends go to dance and blast music these days :)

Yeah Micky Hill, saved the rat from experimentation lab. Went to Holly Hall school. Have not seen him for years. He would be about 46 now.

@tonimusher 1985 for me, sadly i don't have much memory of stourbridge back then, makes you think where the past 20+ has gone. i'd go back too the 80's tommorow and do it all again.

Well it did because we did'nt have Merry Hiil then - you can build more shopping centres but there are only so many shoppers.
