This is a short video of my hedgehog. He is currently about 2.5 to 3 months old and the cutest thing. You see me waring gloves, that is not because of his somewhat pointy hair but because he loves to chew on long nice nails lol. I do tell you some info on these little guys so listen up!

If your seeking your own hedgehog as a pet please visit hedgehogworld.com and read up on them as well as ask the group questions before you get one. This also helps you find breeders!

To know the color of your little picky friend visit this website: http://www.atlantishedgehogs.com/hedgehogcolors/

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

  • Can you stroke them in the direction of the spikes or can you not really touch them at all?

  • @tingtong70 Honestly a good section of the quils dont lay flat they kind of stick up... but the ones that do lay more flat you want to go in the direction they lay.

  • NOTE TO Persons leaving comments; #1. For the final time I wore gloves to keep him from trying to bite fake nails I had on. He could get sick from them. So stop telling me I shouldn't be waring them. I don't ware them normally when handeling my pet. #2. Anymore comments about glove waring and ur comment will be removed. Thanks!

  • is 250 dollars a lot for a hedgehog?

  • @polkadottedponys Yes, $250.00 is a bit much!!!!

  • I have a hedgie too and the cage you have is fine as long as you let the hedgehog out to roam about for at least an hour. I let mine run around the living room and only keep him in his cage while Im @ work 8hrs

  • @polkadottedponys i usually see them for around $200 but if you don'thave many breeders around, like my state only has one licensed breeder, they can be a little more expensive

  • I HAVE ONE!!!!!

  • U dont need gloves to hold it..lol

  • wow is too fat hahah beautiful, i got an albino one i love her name Amy

  • @Babyblack20 ....No. Actually a platic tub will do fine, or a rabbit or chinchilla cage c:

  • This is not the right Form to have a pygmy hedghog!!!!!!

He don't Need a Cage He Need a Terrarium!!!

    He Needs more Space!!!!
