I have a hedgie too and the cage you have is fine as long as you let the hedgehog out to roam about for at least an hour. I let mine run around the living room and only keep him in his cage while Im @ work 8hrs

@polkadottedponys i usually see them for around $200 but if you don'thave many breeders around, like my state only has one licensed breeder, they can be a little more expensive

Can you stroke them in the direction of the spikes or can you not really touch them at all?

@tingtong70 Honestly a good section of the quils dont lay flat they kind of stick up... but the ones that do lay more flat you want to go in the direction they lay.

NOTE TO Persons leaving comments; #1. For the final time I wore gloves to keep him from trying to bite fake nails I had on. He could get sick from them. So stop telling me I shouldn't be waring them. I don't ware them normally when handeling my pet. #2. Anymore comments about glove waring and ur comment will be removed. Thanks!
