A short clip of the Mont 24 hour race held at Sparrow Hill, Canberra, Australia. This video was shot entirely on the new Ricoh GXR compact camera in 720 HD with the 50mm f2.5 APS-cropped sensor module.
To power the batteries I used a PowerTraveller Solar Gorilla through the day and Power Gorilla lithium battery bank through the night.
No tripods, no external lighting and no sleep for 60 hours! Some colour correction (de-saturation) using Final Cut Express was applied in post.
