  • We need more people like Dr. Scott Tyson and all the other activists who spend their personal time marching, blogging, and caring for important life issues like universal health care and financial regulation reform. Just today I read a very sad story about a 52 year old woman who is now paralyzed from a sudden brain aneurism. She had insurance, but has exceeded her $1 million cap and now owes over $659,000. Her family has lost their house and has filed for bankruptcy.

  • Dr. Tyson is very articulate for the cause and his heart is obviously in a very humane, positive place. Great to see this movie. It spreads hope that there are things that can be done to make a more equitable health system for all.

  • At Occupy Pittsburgh, a great number of people had health care signs and everyone, without dissent, chanted "Medicare for all." Statistically, over 70% of Americans want universal health care. Dr. Tyson is so right that the Occupy movement is the perfect opportunity for us to come together and demand the affordable, accessible and quality health care we so deserve.
