My purpose was to do a video music dedicated to this great singer unkown in Europe (sadly) using the original version of this amazing song (never realised on cd) that is a bit different from the movie version of 1981. As you can see, Miss Julie Budd and Miss Allee Willis did loved this video and I am happy too...Filippo KT :)

PS: Is this also the 45 rpm? Or did someone transfer this to CD for you?

This truly is an AWESOME song. It is VERY unfortunate that Julie Budd was considered to be too similar to Barbara S, and therefore was not promoted properly. I had this 45 rpm which featured Roses & Rainbows on the opposite side (although, like this version, it was slightly different than the movie version). Julie's voice is BEAUTIFULLY represented in this song. It really show cases her strong points, although I don't think she has any weak points! :-)
PS: enjoyed your performance.

@mm881969 Hi, I am sorry if I answer to you now...I want to thank you for your nice words. I love Julie since I was a child and I wanted to make a video for her. Yes, this song came from the original 45° that I have...I love Roses & Rainbows too...and you? what about you? Filippo from Rome, Italy :)

@killyky: Yes, I too have loved her since a child also. I think that had she been properly promoted, then she would have been a much bigger "commercial" success.
I actually HAD that 45rpm myself, but lost it in a flood when I lost nearly all my other possessions. You learned of her through the movie TD&MD too? That is how I did.
Thank you for your reply :-)

@mm881969 yes I saw her when I was a child in that movie...she was great and the songs were amazing! I wrote many letters to her and she was very very kind and fantastic. I hope one day to see her in America...who knows?
