Video was informative and pretty good. However, the Dr. (?) coming on at the end with the hokey used car salesman banter/presentation made me think he's less of a professional. I need this procedure myself, which is why I was here.

How long would it take for the knee to heal and return to sports after the surgery?
-
first of all I would do all this in europe but not in london.

Thanks for the video Dr. Biehl!!!

I had a skiing injury that included a non displaced tibial plateau fracture, & I fell on my right lateral knee & felt some tension with my toe pointing inwards, ski did not release. I felt some loose feeling in the joint: rotation, lateral leg raise, or putting weight & then letting off the weight, it seems to have some looseness, there was also some clicking along the right lateral knee are when it would bend. MRI said there was no injury, but I'm curious if something maybe have been missed

Beware - I had this done in London. I still couldn't walk two weeks later. A scan showed that I also had a massive DVT. A year and lots of physio later, my knee is slightly worse than pre-op, my circulation is permanently damaged, and I'm lucky to be alive. Knee arthroscopy carries high risk of DVT - certainly 3%, maybe 8%. Don't let your surgeon gloss over this, and find out how you will be protected.

You have a very valid point. I have had a few patients develop a DVT after knee arthroscopy. The DVT is usually detected when the patient returns for follow-up at post op day 2-3. They usually complain of pain out of the ordinary or complain of calf (not knee) pain. A stat venous doppler ultrasound makes the dx and the patient is tx with a blood thinner. In my experience, their knee still turns out well. Pts with high risk for a DVT are done without the use of a thigh tourniquet.
