Only selling guns to a person who is in his right mind, competent and has no criminal record is still a type of restriction on gun sales. If I understand you correctly we agree that is a very necessary restriction on the sale of all guns.

We will no be able to agree on what types of guns may and may not be sold, and on that topic I agree with you we need to just accept our diffident opinions.

@weponspec1682 The right to bear arms was written so the common people would be safe in their homes and if necessary a revolution could arm its self, but if a revolution did happen and the revolutionist first response was to attack people with weaponry, regardless of who the target was that would label the revolutionist as terrorists in the eyes of the american people. On the other hand if the military attacked the revolutionist that would show a corrupted government.

@weponspec1682 If I remember corectly the bill also dosent say that the meantly ill can not own a gun, and we already agreed that they shuld not be entitled to own a wepond. Times change and situations change so laws need to elvolve to fit the times we live in. The bill doesn't say we have the right to own dynamite and that is how much more deadly high tech weaponry can be.
