I believe the underlying idea here is that if you have premarital sex, you'll get AIDS. Thus, if you have AIDS and you get married, you'll give it to your spouse, and if you or your spouse get pregnant, then the child will have AIDS too. Of course, that counts on the fact that having premarital sex means you'll get AIDS in the first place.
