  • @glencro I know, but the mistake was actually quite simple. All I had to do was not pay attention, then google harold melvin and the blue notes and voila...

  • Best version ever! Philly soul only existed 7 years, then the electro-disco entered the danceworld in the mid-70s. This version of this song (and others like this one) is why discotheques went skyhigh in popularity. Extremely danceable, great sing-a-long lines, exotic built rhythmsequences, horns, strings, etc etc. Oh yes, I'm a major fan of the Fender Rhodes ;)
