Roger Lyle trackday at Summit Point Raceway. Racer Group. I took the muffler off completely to really let it sing. Onboard it sounds sort of like my SV650.

I follow a friend on an SV in yellow leathers for a little bit. I thought the SV would be faster on the straight than it was. What's bouncing around? The headlight modulator sensor.
I had heated grips and a centerstand on it too. Peg would hit before the stand, but I never hit the peg, plenty of clearance with the Penske shock.

  • Great sound and great riding. I have fitted a 180 rear and think it has slowed the steering so may drop the forks as you have to try and speed it up again before I swap back to a 170 on the back.

  • @Crisisbiker I use a 160 rear on mine.

  • Do you have stock front fork springs or progressives? It looks like you really have your front suspension adjusters set stiff - nice riding. I almost hate redlining my '96, there's so much acceleration on tap from 7000-9000 rpms, but I've never had it on the track :^(

  • @SVbadguy I think my next rear tire is going to be a 160. My 4th gen don't turn like that.

    Amazing

  • Excellent

  • vfr,s are awasome for sure i love my 97 vfr750 4thgen they can still get the job done i have people say you cant wheelie the vfr,s without the clutch but u can and in 2nd gear

  • At 8:22 was that rider wearing a t-shirt??

  • Best soundtrack ever. I love that group.

  • Wooah! Awesome! I want that!!!

  • @dimgwalltameiben hi, just learnt how to walk again, now i want to learn to run. does lowering forks improve handling when normal riding, ie going to and from work etc. and are there any other adjustments i could make ? cheers, kenny
