Australians remember 1 year after the dreadful January 2011 Inland tsunami that wiped a small country town in the Lockyer Valley off the map.

I've been watching closely from Sydney. After watching this, I'm amazed that the death toll has been as low as it is (as of now it's 20 for all of Qld). Bligh is right about the Qld spirit, we may bag you out in during the NRL season but when it comes down to it you guys know how to get stuff done and all of Aus is with you. I'm just waiting for an ok from my doctor before I can come up and help out. Stick it out, getting through stuff like this is what makes us Aussies.
