actually, the show was split at both shops, the north satellite shop housed much, but lots was @ the old shop. (I was hired by Shaun, too)
The mech, immortal's masks, costume elements for Hunchback, & more was at the south shop, while dents, sculpts & paint (maj. of both), etc. was N.
Both had supervisory & artistic input (had to talk to one when the other was in Canada), both ran crews, both at set & did their jobs.
Just setting the record straight,

I was lucky to work on 300 as part of the makeup team. This video is shameful! Creature Effects Inc. badly edited out the Makeup Supervisor Shaun Smith. He was the guy who hired me and all of the artist on our team. He was the guy who ran things with and the department head. Mark Rappaport the Creature Effects person in this video had an office in the makeup room and seemed nice but didn't do a whole lot that I saw.
