  • Wow. Here you really see an example of the "triangle of sound" about which my band teacher's been speaking lately. Great job!

  • Ummmm... How about we played this song for the public for Memorial Day (aka, the day we remember those who have passed that served). It's not dedicated to any one person. Thanks.

  • hahaha fucking pogs! they play good!

  • Love the MBSD im actually thinking of joining the marines and auditioning for a tuba spot.

  • great sound, great sound.

however, i was a little disappointed that the 2nd/3rd trumpets did not play the higher notes on the fanfare sections.

  • If any of you get a chance to see/hear The Marine Band, Washington Barracks...DO IT....it's the tightest band I've ever heard.

  • I fail at this song. D:

    I'm jealous.

    :D

  • Semper Fi, Do or Die, Ohh-rah, ooh-rah, ohh-rah. Boot Camp both times at Parris Island. I have to think EVERY Marine Band knows his song by heart.

  • If you're going to go to every damn video of this song on youtube and say that the actual song is dedicated to your uncle, for some reason, at least figure out what rank he was and what he did. Besides its pretty arrogant and selfish to say "this song...is dedicated to my uncle" when someone else is playing it.

  • Thank you so much for that comment. I completely agree. That guy was posting that same comment on every video with this song. It is for those who have passed and those who served.

  • the females in the Marine band are hot. :)

  • Yes. I'm actually in the band in this video. I'm a tuba player.

Good luck to you in the army.
