If Fischer thinks Klaus Kinski was never again as intense in any other film, Fischer is a little crazy himself (or simply stupid). Intensity and madness weren't hats Kinski put on as he left the house in the morning, they were basic parts of his essence, which can be seen in just about any Kinski performance.
