Go shoping, stop reading poetry, it's not only about rhythm.

Much too fast and too...well...it hasn't this pessimistic, mysterious athmosphere.
At the beginning it seems like he's happy for the visitor...
He's sad, he's scared... That doesn't become apparent...

@daemontraceur she should have read it flat, but given by mistakes (both reading the words and everything else) I'd say she's not well practiced or familiar, nevermore.

I'm sorry, you've got a beautiful voice, but you're too happy for this!
>_> Okay, super cute voice

I'm sorry to say, while your diction is fine, the emotion you portray is not appropriate for this poem. This is not doing the poem justice. While my version probably isn't much better I do think it has better captures the correct emotion.

rising intonation doesn't work :S

nice clear reading..but it didnt capture the feeling i need for this Peom.

Bitch needs to learn to deal with prose without stumbling over archaic dialect

ummm... chick you are better of singing a up beat song not a sad sorrow mad upset poem by him because i am trying to do a report on him and i am sure tht isn't how he would read it like that so stick to children books

Maybe a little slower next time, since Poe is not typically up tempo. Don't try to make it rhyme!!
