On September 6th 2011 (09/06/11), Janet Kuypers introduced (as the host of the open mic) the open mic night of poetry and music at the Cafe (5115 North Lincoln Ave., on Tuesday nights starting at 8:30 - 8:45 pm). Janet Kuypers also read her poems (and short prose) "Find Myself", "Nights", "Make Me", "Finest Feeling", "Touch", "Ecstasy", "I See the Scene", "Self-Destructive", "Ice Cubes", "See You Crawl", "Run Faster", "Like Daggers", "the Deep End", "Rendering Me", "Love Has Tendrils", "Never Did the Same", "Naivety", "All THese Reminders", and "Sorry Flowers" . All poems (and the prose) that Kuypers read this evening during this event were previously publishged in Janet Kuypers' poetry book release 'Contents Under Pressure' (now in it's second printing, available for sale: http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/contents-under-pressure/3797701).
