Your front foot opens too soon because your not finishing the back leg drive. This will cause early rotation of the trunk. When you land the front foot you must brace the leg better. This is how you transfer the forces from the lower to upper body. If you're topping out at 87mph, there is no reason why you can't hit 90+ if you make those adjustments. Find a goo coach that knows what I'm talking about.

Shane..you're losing 5 to 7 mph easily.
1. Your back leg is bent too much upon landing...means no back leg drive and early rotation.
2. Your front foot is opening way too soon
3. No bracing of front leg upon landing
4. You're at release point too soon.
Good luck
