Epi 4-21 Mulago Children's HIV/AIDS Hospital
150 children a day visit The Mulago Hospital in Uganda's capitol city of Kampala. They come to be tested for a treated for HIV/AIDS. This week on Profiles in Caring, we take a look at what the hospital is doing, both inside its doors and out and how the non-profilt group, The American Foundation for Children with AIDS is saving lives by providing the hospital and children with free drugs. Because of these drugs, lives are prolonged and the children experience a quality of life they otherwise would never receive.
