Actually, no. Close minded fools are the ones who go on videos and say "Play with your fingurz, pix suxorz!!~". The pick gives a different tone, unachievable with finger-playing techniques. It also can give added speed. A good bass player can play with both, and isn't a close minded fool.

shut up if he wants to play with a pick let him. He sounds fine. Narrow Minded moron

Dunno what a beginner is doing with a bass as incredible as a Rickenbacker.

You need more PUNCH in your picking sound, its too weak

@Vaughnrush agreed, the tone is pretty thin! My recording skill have improved :) I really should stick a new video up here haha

That's a 4003, right? Sorry, it looks so similar to the 4001.
Anyway, great job. That's a great bass, one of the only lefty rics i've ever seen. I know the right hand rics usually hover around $2000, but how much was your lefty?

I'm sure It's a 4001 if memory serves corrects. Well it is a right handed Ric, it's just a reversed video....dam macs.
And as for the price, it's best to ask Tecmonkey who has posted a comment below because it's his Ric :)
