@ScootTheCat Burnouts are just for the hell of it....I mean c'mon mate, you cant tell me you dont enjoy a good tire smokin'?!? Chaining them holds them back and again saves the brakes. Guess there is a lot of people that have issues in your mind, cuz they are all about loud zoomies, flat paint, zombies, rust, flames throwers and burnouts. Rats are something either you get or you dont...if you dont then you never will.

@moparmaniac21 Burnouts just to show off are pretty obnoxious but when you chain the car down it takes it to another level of stupidity. Anyone driving a shitty rat rod and thinking it's cool to be obnoxious and scary has issues beyond my understanding. I like hot rods but using one to scare someone is not the way to go, that's what a gun is for.

@ScootTheCat Rat rods arent about looking shiny and nice, they are about being over the top, obnoxious and scary. They aint afraid to work em hard and get crazy, this is a fine way to do a burnout without heating up your brakes. They also chain them down, and do nose-to-nose burnouts....its not something for pussies.

you see one guy doing something deemed not very smart like this and then automatically assume that all "Rat Rodders" are stupid? well, we are far from it.
don't be so quick to stereo type us, after all, as the saying goes "there's one in every crowd" this guy may be it for the rat rodder crowd, BUT i got a sneaky suspicion that you are the "one" in your crowd.
