the girl in this commercial actually looks better & gentler with darker skin...with whiter skin she looks harsher bcs it creates a sharp contrast to her hair/eyebrows...

when ppl go tanning, ya they wanna change the colour of their skin. its w'e ppl tan and ppl bleach. but indian ppl take it to a whole new level that its actually racism. black ppl are considered hideous ppl, because of their skin tone. indian ppl really think like that. its not that oh i would want to have a lighter skin tone just cause i like it, it's that dark skin is literally considered ugly and hideous to them. they are racist. it is racism.

this is a joke right? this happens in india for real, people advertise this sort of stuff? lool i feel sorry for the dark skinned indians, they're probably sick of these pointless comercials for stupid, vain people.

lool why the hell would you have a night mare about the colour of your skin, if you're not comfortable in your own skin you have some real issues, beauty comes in all shapes sizes and in this case SKIN TONES, so please indian folks get over the notion that white equals beauty.

what if you want to? why should you put up with something you dont like? You own your skin/body, you have the right to change it. I always use fake tan in the summer because my skin only burns and doesnt tan naturally, but I want a summery look. There's nothing wrong with changing your skin color, as long as you do it safely and responsibly (e.g. not using harsh chemicals like hydroquinone).

i understand what u mean, and it makes sense. but u have to understand the indian mentality isnt like, i wanna have a pale look or w'e, like how u wanna have a summery look. its actually racism. to them, black ppl are hideous and ugly ppl. indians really think like that. to them DARK=ugly and LIGHT=pretty. that's just the way they are, it's their mentality. and sadly, its racism. i go for tans too, get a nice summery carribean look, but for them it's not a look or w'e, its racism.

i understand that they are victims of colonial mentality, and some of them actually are racist, but some actually want to look lighter because they find it attractive, and thats fine as long as they do it responsibly. Loads of Indians have awesome-looking skin, but it depends on a person's personal taste.
