@squishedpimp benoneill is absolutely correct and there is every indication that the right hand lane is for continuing beyond the next junction: almost every junction has an absolutely clear sign above the left lane telling you where you should be going if you are in that late i.e. off at the next junction.

@benoneill There is absolutely no indication of that on the road though. re you can't blame the ring road designers for designing it to the specifications needs of 1950s motorised vehicles - but a renovation or even a indication that the double road lay out structure is completely different to pretty much every double lane lay out structure in the country would be nice.

I suggest re-arming Germany for a one-off quick war where they bomb Coventry again and then it can be rebuilt with some better considered planning.
Or we could just do it ourselves.
-
the only reason why its so unsafe is because people don't use it correctly, there isn't suppose to be a lane for overtaking the left lane is for exiting and joining the rest of the time your suppose to use the right lane.

word, that ringroad is a nightmare, only been to coventry once and within a minute of getting on the bloody thing some burk in a clio cut me right up!

I work in Cov City Centre, use this damn ringroad everyday, i consider myself lucky 2 be alive still!
If people opened their fuckin eyes and used indicators it would be a bit safer!
LOL!
Best ring road in the country.

i think the ring road is one of the best things in Coventry, you barely ever get any long queues in cov and iff you do they are always moving.
