@chiminox That's part of the artist's original track. IIRC, it's a representation of Magus' voice maybe. Sounds fitting to me in that respect; remember Magus' chanting in the PSX anime cutscene and how unnatural it was?

Why does Square Enix insist on taking a dump on their already waning fan presence? It wasn't like the creators were going to market this game---it was purely by fans for fans. If anything, I think it would've helped keep interest in Chrono Trigger alive and kicking just in case SE ever decided to get off their asses and make another game.

The sad thing is, if SE actually PAID the creators of this hack to make it a full game, I'd actually buy it. But no. C&D is how they went.

Damn you Square. I haven't played a Final Fantasy game since VII, and the only product of theirs I would consider buying would be a Chrono Trigger remake or sequel or expansion.

Crimson Echoes seemed like exactly the sort of project that Square should have done long ago, had they even the slightest bit of desire to continue with the Chrono series.

Instead they just attack the fans who do what they cannot or will not.
