Actually, i work on The Count of Tuscany.

I think this outro is a good exercice for the independence of hands.

For the part with choir and arpeggios, i use 2 setup (or combi for Korg), the first have 3 sections of choir :

1 - transpose : 20
2 - transpose : 12 (and it's only a E)
3 - transpose : 24

i change of setup at 4:14, Jordan rudess too in this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwF4oo1CZNo at 0:15, you could listen a short silence for change combi

the second have 3 sections of choir

1 - transpose : 12
2 - transpose : 24 (it's only a B and one switch pedal can transpose down of one octave)
3 - transpose : 24

But, if you have a left hand large like two octaves you haven't any problem ^^

  • Those last arpeggios were hard to play right? :P

  • @TheVirtuoso it's to play left hand + right hand that is hard!

  • I wouldn't be upset about it. That part is insanely difficult. The left hand has chords and leading tones while the right hand plays arpeggios.

  • I really like your work in the Synthesis of that masterpiece!! I dont see mistakes XDDD really like it!! and the performance mistakes.. becomes funny XD.. congratulations for that work (=

  • Hahaha...You insist so much on the mistakes that your video becomes funny.

  • just amazing.. this is what i aim to be

  • Sounds like a good start, and definitely a good independence exercise. I think your articulation is a tad harsh the 3-note motive up top. Remember, that's just background. The stuff on bottom sounded wonderful, nice and connected. Just work on those arpeggios with a metronome. haha I know how annoying those can be two octaves. I'm working on the 3rd movement of Moonlight Sonata so it's just arpeggios flying. Overall, pretty good. I enjoyed it.
