@chamogul You're welcome! I know your brother is happy about your change. I know I am! :) Wow, you see how making a few changes can make a world of difference in our bodies. You're a testimony! Thank you for commenting and best wishes for your health and your vegetarian journey! Evelyn

Thank you so much sis.... I mean, like THANK YOU. I am transitioning out of one way of life to vegetarian, then prayerfully raw vegan and I'm so thankful that I am now walking upon this information FOR MYSELF. My brother is a vegan and I used to laugh at him but my my my, what a beautiful way of life. This pain that I've had in my side for over 15 years is almost gone. Like u said, once u get focused, there is NOTHING that will side track you. Sorry for rambling but I thank you for posting

@harvesttime03 You're quite welcome! Take your time. I also find that it is a mind of body issue too. If we can get our minds right, then the rest will follow. Glad you got some encouragement. Take care! Evelyn

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! I was wondering why it has been so hard to go raw. Everything you have said fits me to a tee! I am now trying to master being a vegetarian. Thanks for your words of encouragement :D
I'm not good at transitioning into anything. I'm better at cold turkey. I went vegan cold turkey from vegetarian. I'm a long time vegetarian, and vegan a long time too. I never liked meat anyway, so it wasn't hard for me.

Thank you! My husband and I went cold turkey from an omnivorous diet to a vegan diet over a month ago. He was much more dedicated than I was and still to this day has not fallen off the bandwagon. I, however, have gone through some rough cravings and have eaten cheese and chocolate bars on a few occasions. This makes me feel so guilty that sometimes I just want to give up. I think for me, it is more important to transition so "mastering being a vegetarian" is what I will work on first. Thanks!

@jaxalee Some people can go cold turkey, but most find transitioning works best. Oftentimes cravings for certain foods is our body's way of letting us know that it needs certain things. Don't ever feel guilty for falling off the wagon. You have to always move at your OWN pace and do what works best for you. Slow and steady wins the race! Best wishes!

wow, this is exactly right sis, you are so right on this one. I went the same phases and stages. But one of the things that hinderred me also was finances. I love being raw I did it for a whole year, and lost nearly all the weight that I needed to lose. But then financially it's really hard for me to do that. But I am now prepping myself to go back to it. When I was raw, I was full of energy, slept well, needed less sleep, and losing and maintaining my weight was easy. I miss it so much.

@SlimByFaith I totally understand about the finances. Because it is really hitting my family hard these days, so I have to do what I have to do. Eating raw really helps the body do good, but I don't think it is necessary to be healthy and to release weight. I say start where you are and do what you know you can do. You will be just fine! :)
