what exactly does it mean, 3D rotoscoped? do you pose her frame by frame, is that it? anyway, really nice and flowing. i like the tail overlapping nicely there.

Yes, that's exactly what it means. I posed the character frame-by-frame, using a live-action performer for visual reference.

I'll post a render when I finish keyframing the sequence. I only tinker with it during idle moments. It'll likely be done sometime this century.

Oh, I'll erase him completely, once I finish keyframing the sequence. I've already got the background plate and shadowcatchers set up for final render.
