Nice machine. I think Edgar Froese used it on the album "Pinnacles" check that album out. It is great.

@MrGeorgios2020 Jean Michel Jarre actually used to technically use this string machine. It was built into the Elka x705 combo organ that he not only used but endorsed. This awesome instrument was marketed as a "space organ" and featured a central core of a Hammond clone complete with two sets of drawbars for each manual, in addition to custom presets. It also featured an Elka Rhapsody string machine and a fully funcional monosynth with preset and custom sound patches!

@U5096 I have to disagree. I think the Elka sounds awful and tinny. I'd rather hear a String Ensemble any day.

Seems even better than the A. Solina.

I used to have the bigger version of this when I was a teenager... I think it was called an ELKA SYNTHEX. I ended up lighting it on fire last time I played it at a show because it was just too old and too big...! :0 (JK) Splendid video dude!!! :)

@U5096 Yes it does sound like an Eminent. It reminds me of Jarre.

Schöner Klang, und das immerhin schon 1975! Danke fürs Hochladen.

@U5096 analog "string machines" can sound similar, they have more or less the same basic technology. But they do not sound the same.
