Justin Nozuka, Gone (soundcheck)

My friend and I were lucky enough to be able to watch the JNB's soundcheck for their San Diego show at the Belly Up Tavern (9/7/10). We also had a chance to chat with the band and I asked Justin why he never played his old music anymore and so he asked which song I was wondering about and I said "Gone, it's my favorite song of yours and I've never heard it live." We talked a bit about the song and then he thought a moment and said he might do it in the soundcheck for me... and he did =D Could a girl get any happier? He later played it at the concert as well :)

*because it was the soundcheck the lights were still getting worked out, so it's a bit dark... but you can still hear him :)

@takpan01 lol yeah it did but we're not gonna talk about that lol :) However, it was so worth it! I'd do it again in an instant... Justin Nozuka offered us fruit... he stole my phone (he gave it back eventually)... we chatted about his music... and he played my favorite song of his :) worth.every.penny.

whoa i love this song you are so lucky this is like my favorite one by him i know this was a sound check but did you record it durring concert too? ... i just dont know what to say its in my mind but i just cant get it out see what justin does ... but wow im almost speechless i love this song so much and he did it live for you wow

@weirdchick069 It's my favorite too! i STILL can't believe he played it... i'm literally in shock. Any hopes/expectations i could of had about this experience were beyond shattered (in a good way) when he played "Gone"... and stupidly i stopped recording when he stopped singing, cause he put his hand on his heart (you can see it in the very last frame) and he thanks ME for having him sing it... i still can't wrap my mind around that! =D

aww all you guys are so lucky. i want to go to a concert and meet him and stuff, it seems like everyone is doing that and i wanna be one of them. im like super jealous, and i absolutely LOVE him soooo much, but is it like expensive to be able to do that stuff? because well im young and I want the good advantages of going to his concert so, is it expensive?

@obsessivelyhis  girl, i do not blame you. I definitely bidded on that - but I was in college and broke at the time haha. If the auction were now I definitely would have forked over. So happy for you! Hes amazing, and I am seeing him for the 7th (eek!) time later this month. Completely worth it!
