No. You need a wired controller. A wireless controller with "play and charge" kit will NOT work.

@PIKACHU49386 I seen one for cheaper on ebay.. might cost you 50 bucks or LESS depending if no one else bids on it. I seen one go ended for just 28 bucks. Check ebay or Amazon or err.. i seen one somewhere for just 52 bucks.
