suspension is crucial to your acceleration and mainly handling.. soft suspension will feel sloppy but give GREAT grip... best for tight technical circuits medium is great for learningg your car before really getting technical and hard gives great response but can lead to understeer or oversteer..
u might have noticed on a fairly undulating surfaced road the car sort of skips in hard acceleration easing on the "gas" as u americans call it will result in better speed ;) here are some key points to improve ur lap times: Throttle Control, Braking Point/lift off, throttle steering, and of course be mindful of the cars weight drive type and suspension configuration
yeah man i agree wih marty steer long sweepers with the throttle... as u accelerate u head to the outside back off and u go inside for FRs 4WD and FF cars require more skill strangly 4WD and FF cars understeer during cornering and acceleration and turn sharper during deaccel throttle control is a great skill to learn
no shit but theory helps... if u have something in your head to help its better

get headers, exhaust, a K&N/elbow, polish your TB and get it tuned-you'll run just fine with LS1's especially in the top end

you can't learn to go fast from a book... it takes laps... nothing more, nothing less.

so a hard suspension setup is better for faster open circuits
thus concludes my racing tutorial for today

I'm more into the drag racing but I'm liking road racing more and more. I got a 2000 LS1 Formula.
