Now that I am watching this series for the 100th time (what of it!) I realize that there is not one scene with Jane and mr. Rochester where he doesn't give her some kind of hint.

At 7:48 Blanche knows that Rochester doesn't love her, you can tell by her expression.

When Rochester tells Jane "don't go, what will I do while you're gone"? You know that all he is doing is thinking of her and wanting her. Makes me melt everytime I see it in his eyes, he loves her and doesn't know how to say it.

The interpretation of Mr Rochester might be questioned, even if Toby Stephens is a fantastic actor, but I cannot imagine anyone competing with Ruth Wilson as Jane. She acts exactly the kind of natural, freespoken, passionate character you find in the book.

They ought to have changed R:s comment in Ep 1:4, though. Ruth Wilson is too tall and looks too healthy for "You are so small! Didn't they feed you." It seemed very missplaced.

Ruth Wilson is quite tall for a woman, Jane Eyre is supposed to be a short arse, bubt I really like Ruth Wilson.
