Whats with Kojima and Outer Heaven? lol

No. If you know japanese, then the PC-Engine version is the best.

@Protectobot Yep, Jamie is Gillian's wife, Mika Slayton is Junker's receptionist, and Katrina Gibson (Called Kathrine in the Japanese version) is his would-be co-worker's daughter who is 18 in the english (Sega/Mega-CD) version and 14 in Japanese. The PC-Engine version is great, but the Sega-CD version has it's charm with extended intro and ending, enhanced in-game music (though the redbook CD audio is debatably better in the PC-Engine version), and, well, being the only English version.

@SagesOfL33T WHOA. that's weird lol. I'm trying to remember all the characters' names, besides Jamie (sp?!), Mika and Katrina. The JP version is always better, it seems (extras, better level designs, music, etc.).

@Protectobot There's 2. One is with Lisa apparently her breasts are supposed to fall out of her dress, but in the SegaCD version it's redrawn so the dress stays put. Then there's that shower scene, where the Sega CD version put Gillian's head in the way of her bum. IIRC there's also a porn tape, but it's just audio. Apparently in Plato's Cavern/Joy Division, there's a tape that, if examined often enough, Gillian will actually use Metal to play it. Metal gets so excited he accidentally deletes it

@SagesOfL33T hey bro :) HUH?!?! nudity scenes? You mean, like, the shower scene with Katrina? but you don't really see any body parts, right?! I'd think that wiggling intestines are worse. thanks for the spoiler warning, but that kind of thing is no biggie :)

@Protectobot SPOILER: The unedit code is fake. Very little was edited in regards to offensive content in the SegaCD version, just 2 nudity scenes and the wiggling dog intestines becoming motionless. Besides this, the PS1 version has more censorship, as the decayed corpses in Queen's Hospital are pixelated and the scene with Gibson's body scrolls away from the head and then the body is greyed out.

@liquidpolicenaut I owned the Sega CD version but I didn't have it anymore when I found out there was a code to UNEDIT it, I think! Or maybe THIS Playstation version was less edited, if at all?!?! I THOUGHT I was right about the PSX version only being import (no English subtitles! :P).

Thanks for the advice.
I'm downloading a SCD emulator and the ROM as I type this.
I really miss these 2-D games like this.
It seems that games nowadays strive for style over substance and with no real soul to them, a lot of them just end-up becoming clones of each-other.
I remember reading about Snatcher and seeing pics of it in GamePro when I was a kid and thinking it was the coolest looking game I'd ever seen.
All these years later, I'm pleasantly surprised to find I still think it's a great looking title. Man, I'd love to play an unedited English-port of it.

I agree 100% As for playing it unedited, trust me, the Sega CD version is still the all around best and very little was "edited" from the PC-E version.
