Last sony pd-150 Skate Footy

just a few clips from chattown at the end of summer...............
the recording heads were starting to act up on my pd... GL2 coming soon.
i love everything about sony cams but their heads just never last.

@mcmikeybivona i got a pretty good deal on it. might sell it pretty soon as i am about to have a 60d. although as of right now i plan on keeping it and using both cameras for different projects

@buttersk8in the pd 150 is an amazing camera. they are more pro than the vx2000 cameras since they have xlr mic inputs and such(which always makes the mic get in the shot) .. but they are WAY better than a gl2.

I think people dont use them because the mic gets in the shot and because vx's are cheaper anyway.

if I had to pick any mini-dv sd camera i would pick a vx2100. there are other good ones but I like how the sony ones work. just perfect. although now I shoot with a 60D.

@buttersk8in the pd was 10 years old and the tape deck was dead. the gl2 was pretty much new.

@PunkBoy755 i currently have a vx2000 mk2 and the tape is stuck in it and the heads are bad im sending it in and in the mean time im getting a vx1000 mk1

ha i'm putting my gl1 on ebay so i can buy a vx1 i like the gl1 i just like the other settings the vx1 has though

@PunkBoy755 ahh i hate that i have a sony vx1000(2 actually) i just reparied it now it works perfectly. someone tried to steal it and if fell out of the bag and obliterated. i was soooo upset. my dad knows soo much about everything and we managed to fix it!!!!
