I graduated in 75 from a Catholic HS. Juniors and Seniors could smoke in the park across the street with a "smoking permit". You had to have your parents sign off. So the Frosh and Sophs still had to cloud up the crappers. Girls john by the cafeteria had an ever present smoke cloud in it.

I went to highschool in the 90s. We still had a smoking area.

we could also smoke at the high school i attended back in the late 70's/early 80's..

I went to a strict all boys Catholic school. But when you became a senior, you could smoke across the street at lunch time. Very strange, now that I think of it.
