Thousands of fans thirsty for hip-hop came out to New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on June 5 for arguably one of the biggest concerts of the year — the Hot 97 Summer Jam 2011. This year the stage welcomed South Jamaica, N.Y., native Christopher Moore, better known as C-Moez, who was a participant at The Recording Academy New York Chapter's GRAMMY Career Day on May 18.
A true GRAMMY Foundation GRAMMY Career Day success story, C-Moez performed at Career Day's The Next Stage: Performance 101 panel, hosted by Shady Records' Riggs Morales. Thanks to that performance, C-Moez was invited by panel participant Chris Nadler of Emmis Communications to perform at the Hot 97 Summer Jam 2011. C-Moez had the opportunity to perform his original track "Nobody" onstage in front of the thousands of music fans in attendance, sharing the stage with hip-hop luminaries such as Busta Rhymes and Sean "Diddy" Combs.
